19:30 – 23:00 The Gala Dinner at the Castello Sforzesco
Celebrating the 20th anniversary of this event, the Gala Dinner will be held at the spectacular “Cortile della Rocchetta” in the Castello Sforzesco, one of the most famous monuments in Milan. Built in 1368 by Gian Galeazzo Visconti to defend the city from military attacks, and later destroyed in 1447, Castello Sforzesco was rebuilt between 1450 and 1500 and enlarged under Francesco Sforza’s rule. From 1893 onwards the castle gradually became home to various cultural institutions and art collections and remains an integral part of the city’s culture today.
During the evening’s celebrations, all guests will be invited to visit to the Rondanini Pietà (1550), the last unfi nished work of Michelangelo, housed in Castello Sforzesco – a truly unique opportunity.
The evening will also play host to the announcement of the winners of the 6th ACI EUROPE Best Airport Awards.
